LIC and Reliance investors suffered losses, HDFC Bank-TCS investors made the most profit, see these figures

The market capitalization (m-cap) of eight out of the top 10 Sensex companies increased by a total of Rs 1,55,603.45 crore last week. HDFC Bank and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) made the biggest gains. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 1,536.8 points or 1.98 percent. Meanwhile, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty rose 374.55 points or 1.59 percent. On Friday, the Sensex jumped 1,961.32 points or 2.54 percent to close at 79,117.11 points. The NSE Nifty also rose 557.35 points or 2.39 percent to reach 23,907.25 points.

 

Reliance Industries suffered losses.

In the list of top 10 companies, the market valuation of Reliance Industries and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) declined. The market capitalization of other companies increased. During the week under review, the market valuation of HDFC Bank increased by Rs 40,392.91 crore to Rs 13,34,418.14 crore. HDFC Bank itself made the biggest gain. The market status of TCS increased by Rs 36,036.15 crore to Rs 15,36,149.51 crore. The valuation of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 16,266.54 crore to Rs 9,01,866.22 crore and that of Infosys increased by Rs 16,189.33 crore to Rs 7,90,151.83 crore. The market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever increased by Rs 13,239.95 crore to Rs 5,74,569.05 crore.

ITC made a profit of Rs 11,508 crore

The market cap of ITC rose by Rs 11,508.91 crore to Rs 5,94,272.93 crore. The valuation of Bharti Airtel rose by Rs 11,260.11 crore to Rs 8,94,068.84 crore and that of State Bank of India (SBI) rose by Rs 10,709.55 crore to Rs 7,28,293.62 crore.

LIC suffers loss of Rs 11,954 crore

In contrast to this trend, the valuation of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) fell by Rs 11,954.24 crore to Rs 5,62,545.30 crore. The market capitalization of Reliance Industries fell by Rs 2,368.16 crore to Rs 17,13,130.75 crore. In the list of top 10 companies, Reliance Industries remained in the first position. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, State Bank of India, ITC, Hindustan Unilever, and LIC respectively.
