Liam Livingstone has reached RCB for Rs 8.75 crore. Chennai also showed interest in buying Liam but in the end, RCB won. 

Mohammed Siraj was bought by Gujarat for 12.25 crores. Bangalore was asked about RTM but refused. With this, Siraj joined the Gujarat team for 12.25 crores.

IPL’s most successful bowler Yuzvendra Chahal has finally joined Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore.

Punjab Kings have bought Shreyas Iyer for 26 crore 75 lakhs. With this, Iyer has become the most expensive player to be sold in IPL history.

Shreyas Iyer has broken Arshdeep Singh’s record of becoming the most expensive Indian player. The bid on Iyer has crossed 20 crores. Neither Punjab nor Delhi is ready to back down. 

Punjab and Delhi have placed bids of more than 11 crores to buy Iyer. Delhi is continuously increasing the bid amount.

After Arshdeep, Kagiso Rabada is being bid for. The bidding started with a base price of 2 crores and soon the bidding crossed 8 crores. There is a competition between Mumbai and Gujarat to buy Rabada. 

SRH jumped into the bidding war for Arshdeep. Arshdeep Singh is on his way to becoming the most expensive Indian player. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings have played the RTM card. Punjab has recalled Arshdeep to its team through RTM for 18 crores.

In the mega auction of IPL 2025, bids will be placed on less than 100 players on the first day. On the second day, bids will be placed on the remaining players in an accelerated auction. This means that the record of the most expensive player in IPL can be broken on the first day. 

577 players have been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 auction, including 367 Indian and 210 foreign players. Of these, 4 players are from associate countries while 331 players are uncapped. The uncapped players include 319 players from India and 12 from abroad.
