    288 counting centers have been set up in Maharashtra

    A total of 288 counting centers have been set up for counting of votes in Maharashtra, including one center for the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election. An official said that a total of 288 counting observers will monitor each assembly constituency, while two observers have been appointed to monitor the counting of votes in the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election.     The whole country’s eyes are on Wayanad’s Lok Sabha seat

    The candidate contesting against Shinde alleged irregularities

    Kedar Dighe, the Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate against Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly seat in Thane, Maharashtra, on Friday alleged irregularities in the post-poll process, including keeping the voting material in the observation room instead of the ‘strong room’. He claimed that the observation room did not have CCTV cameras. He also showed some videos to journalists to substantiate his claim.

    JMM demanded suspension of internet service

    The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in Jharkhand wrote a letter to the Election Commission on Friday night demanding the suspension of internet services within a radius of 2 kilometers of the counting centers. JMM has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of deploying electronic experts from other states here. JMM also demanded a complete ban on electronic devices near the counting centers.
