New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has left for a five-day visit to three countries. During this time, PM Modi will be on a visit to three countries from 16 November to 21 November. PM Modi will visit Brazil, Guyana, and Nigeria during this period. PM Modi will go to Brazil to attend the G-20 summit. The Ministry of External Affairs also gave information about this. During the G-20 summit in Brazil, PM Modi can also meet many global leaders.

Visit to Nigeria on 16-17 November

PM Modi will be on a visit to Nigeria on 16-17 November at the invitation of Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, this will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria in 17 years. The statement said, “During the visit, the Prime Minister will review the strategic partnership between India and Nigeria and discuss opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.” 

 

 

Will attend G-20 summit in Brazil

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that PM Modi will visit Rio de Janeiro on November 18-19 to attend the G-20 summit hosted by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The statement said that India is part of the G-20 “troika” along with Brazil and South Africa and is actively contributing to the discussions of the G-20 summit. 

India will present its stand on various issues.

The Ministry of External Affairs said, “During the summit, the Prime Minister will present India’s stand on various issues of global importance and discuss the results of the ‘G-20 New Delhi Leaders Declaration’ and the ‘Voice of the Global South Summit’ organized by India in the last two years.”

Visit to Guyana from 19-21 November

Finally, PM Modi will visit Guyana. On the invitation of Guyana’s President Mohammad Irfan Ali, PM Modi will be on a state visit to Guyana from 19-21 November. A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said, “This visit to Guyana will be the first visit of the Prime Minister of India after 1968.” (With agency inputs)
