New Delhi: In Delhi’s Shahdara district, the DCP has taken a big action against careless policemen. The DCP has put 19 policemen in the district on line duty. From head constable to ASI, all have been suspended. According to the police, the policemen of the areas of the district where the crime graph has increased have been put on line duty.

According to the information, 5 policemen from Seemapuri police station, 4 policemen from Jagatpuri police station, 2 policemen each from Vivek Vihar and Anand Vihar have been put on line duty. 3 policemen from Shahdara police station and 3 policemen from MS Park police station have been put on line duty.

Crime is on the rise in the district
Let us tell you that crime has increased in Shahdara district for some time. Recently, a 40-year-old man and his 16-year-old nephew were shot dead in Shahdara. While the 10-year-old son was injured. Regarding this incident, the Aam Aadmi Party had questioned the Lieutenant Governor’s ability to handle the law and order situation in the capital. At the same time, Delhi Police arrested three minors on Monday in connection with the arson case after a midnight dispute in Shahdara earlier this month.
Prashant Gautam, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Shahdara, said the incident took place around 2.30 am on November 6. “A fight broke out between two groups of boys at Gajju Katra at midnight over some minor issues. Provoked by the dispute, some of them returned that night and set fire to several vehicles parked near the Chand Tara Masjid. Two Activa scooters and two motorcycles were destroyed in the fire.
