New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the central government over the increasing terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that terrorists are coming from Pakistan and killing our citizens. Recently two poor labourers from UP were shot dead. It is the failure of the Modi government that terrorists from Pakistan are coming and killing our citizens.
What is the Modi government doing?
The responsibility of law and order lies with the Lieutenant Governor and if terrorist attacks are taking place there, then the BJP should take responsibility. I am saying that terrorists are coming from Pakistan, why are you not stopping them? …What is the Modi government doing? It is the government’s responsibility to stop them and arrest them. It is the failure of the Narendra Modi government that they are not able to stop the terrorists.
Conspiracy to destabilize Kashmir
Owaisi was questioned about Farooq Abdullah’s statement in which he suspected a conspiracy to destabilize the state behind the terrorist attacks. On the Budgam terrorist attack, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said, it should be investigated. How did it happen that the government came and all this is happening? I suspect that this has been done by those who were trying to destabilize the government. If they (terrorists) are caught then we will know who is doing this. They should not be killed, they should be caught and asked who is behind this. We should investigate whether there is any agency that is trying to destabilize Omar Abdullah’s government.

However, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi responded to this statement of Farooq Abdullah. He said, “The government is conducting a proper investigation but if they feel something like this, if they have any such information, they are no longer in the opposition, they should share it. When it comes to destabilizing their government, isn’t it the same power that they befriended to come to power? Maybe now you have to deal with the same power. He had said that we need to talk to Pakistan, either it is your fear or if you have any information, please share it with the central government and LG.”
