Ayodhya: A grand Deepotsav is to be organized on the banks of the Saryu River on October 30 in the city. Continuous work is going on to make the security arrangements foolproof before this Deepotsav. All security agencies have been put on alert. Meanwhile, the police have closed 17 roads leading to Ram Ki Paidi on the Saryu river. Apart from this, the police have prepared a list of names of people living in all the colonies connected to Ram Ki Paidi and Ram Path.
Only pass holders will get entry.
Inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma of Ayodhya police station informed that 17 roads leading to Ram Ki Paidi have been closed for now. These roads have been closed for security reasons. Till Deepotsav, only those people who will be able to pass through here who have passed. Only pass holders will be allowed to pass through these roads. He said that barricades have been put up on all the roads leading to Ram Ki Paidi. He said that only the volunteers deployed at the ghats, officials associated with the Deepotsav program, and pass holders would be allowed entry on these roads.
One inspector and four constables deployed.
Ayodhya police station inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma further said that given the security of Ram Ki Paidi, one inspector and four constables have been deployed on all 17 connecting roads. Apart from this, people living in the areas adjacent to Ram Ki Paidi have been specially requested not to pass through the restricted streets on the day of Deepotsav or go to the roofs of their houses. For this, security personnel will be deployed on all the high-rise buildings in the area.
28 lakh diyas will be lit
Let us tell you that on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali on October 30, preparations are being made to create a new world record by lighting 28 lakh diyas at Ram Ki Paidi and other ghats. Regarding Deepotsav, the ghat in charge and coordinators regularly place the diyas on the ghat in an organized manner. Apart from this, they are guiding the volunteers. This will be the eighth Deepotsav program in Ayodhya under the rule of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
