Ayodhya: There is a lot of enthusiasm about Diwali across the country. People have started preparing to celebrate Diwali, one of the most important festivals of Hindus. In Ayodhya, as part of the eighth Deepotsav, there is a plan to light a special kind of lamp in Ramlala’s temple this time, amidst preparations to create a world record by lighting 28 lakh lamps on the banks of the Saryu river.
What is the whole matter?
Preparations are underway to celebrate a special Diwali in Ayodhya. A grand festival of lights is going to be held on October 30 on the banks of the Saryu River, for which more than 30 thousand volunteers have been deployed to decorate 28 lakh diyas.
The specialty of these lamps is that they will not stain the temple or cause soot. Apart from this, they will also provide light for a long time. During this time, the temple will also be decorated with attractive flowers. This information has been given by a spokesperson of the state government.
Since the temple is quite large, the complex has been divided into several sections and subsections to decorate different parts. Retired IPS officer of Bihar cadre Ashu Shukla has been given the responsibility of systematically illuminating every corner of the temple, decorating all the entrances with arches, cleaning, and decorating.
There will also be a message about environmental protection.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust is trying to not only organize special events this Diwali but also give the message of environmental protection. For this, a large number of volunteers have been deployed on 55 ghats of Saryu. There are more than two thousand supervisors, coordinators, ghat in-charges, lamp counting, and other members to look after this entire system.
A total of more than 30 thousand volunteers are engaged in decorating 28 lakh lamps on the ghats. This festival of lights will be the center of attraction.
