Regarding these banners in Mumbai, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that it is related to the partition that took place at the time of independence.

It is being told that these banners have been put up on the streets of Mumbai by BJP workers. Vishwabandhu Rai, a BJP worker, has put up these banners. This is being linked to the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. CM Yogi’s picture is also there on this banner. Apart from this, the slogan is written on it, ‘If we divide, we will be cut’. Further, it is written on the banner, ‘Yogi Sandesh… If we stay united, we will remain noble and safe’. At the same time, these banners with slogans written on them along with the picture of UP CM Yogi Adityanath are becoming viral very fast on social media.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi reacted
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has also reacted to these banners on the streets of Mumbai. On being asked about UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Batenge to Katenge’ banner, he said, ‘When India got independence, partition happened. After that, people saw the horror of partition. The conclusion and basic idea behind this (‘Batenge to Katenge’) is that it should not be repeated.’
