Fans of the Indian team have received great news before this series. An injured player of Team India is slowly getting fit. This player is none other than Mohammed Shami. Shami has been seen practicing in Bangalore. Its video is also going viral on social media.

Shami’s video surfaced

Mohammed Shami has not been able to play a single match since the ODI World Cup 2023. He underwent surgery right after the World Cup. Although it was expected that he would return to the Indian team by the New Zealand series, he has not been fully fit yet. However, seeing him bowling is a relief news for the fans. It is believed that he will return by the Australia series. Team India missed Shami in the Test match played against New Zealand in Bengaluru.

In the video going viral on social media, Mohammed Shami is seen wearing a black T-shirt and shorts. Shami has tied something on his left leg. Shami was seen bowling against Team India’s assistant coach Abhishek Nair from round the wicket at the nets. During this, India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel was also keeping an eye on Mohammed Shami.

 

Rohit Sharma gave the update

Team India captain Rohit Sharma recently gave an update on Mohammad Shami’s fitness. Where he said that it is difficult for us to decide whether Shami will be fit for the Australia series or not. Recently Shami had a setback when his knee got swollen. Rohit said that Shami was very close to being fit. He was getting close to 100 percent, but meanwhile, his knee got swollen. This delayed his recovery a bit, so he had to start afresh again.
