‘Cancer will be cured by lying down in a cowshed’, Yogi’s minister makes a strange claim

Uttar Pradesh’s Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Minister Sanjay Gangwar claimed that cancer patients will be cured by cleaning the cowshed and lying and sitting there and by caressing the cow, the dosage of blood pressure medicine will also be reduced by half. He said this during the inauguration of the cowshed in Naugwa Pakadia of Pilibhit on Sunday.

Gangwar said, “If someone is a blood pressure patient and he has cows, then he should caress the cow’s back every morning and evening. If he is taking 20 milligrams of blood pressure medicine, then in 10 days his blood pressure will come down to 10 milligrams.” He also said, “If someone is a cancer patient and he starts cleaning it (cowshed) and starts lying there, then even cancer can be cured.”

‘One should come to the Gaushala on Eid’

Gangwar said, “If cow dung cakes are burnt, mosquitoes will not come. Everything of the cow is useful in some way or the other.” The state minister said, “Farmers should stop saying that stray animals are grazing our fields. We are not serving our mother, so mother is harming us somewhere.” He told the people of the Muslim community that they should come to the cowshed on Eid and that the vermicelli made on Eid should be made in cow’s milk.

He told the Muslim community that they should come to the Gaushala on Eid and the vermicelli made on Eid should be made in cow’s milk. Because cow’s milk is like Amrit. He said that people should celebrate their children’s birthdays, and their marriage anniversaries in the Gaushala only. The minister’s statement has now become a topic of discussion.
