Bahraich: Firing and stone pelting during the immersion procession of the idol of Goddess Durga in Maharajganj market of Hardi area of ​​Bahraich district of UP on Sunday created a stir. A young man died in this incident and many people were injured. After this incident came to light, the Yogi government came into action mode.

SHO and outpost in charge suspended 

After this incident came to light, Hardi SHO SK Verma and outpost in-charge Mahsi Shiv Kumar have been suspended. SP has taken action against the negligent police personnel. 

CM Yogi had given instructions for strict action.

CM Yogi had said that those who spoil the atmosphere in Mahsi of Bahraich will not be spared. The Chief Minister had instructed the officials to identify the miscreants and take strict action. He also said that idol immersion should continue, communicate with religious organizations, and ensure timely immersion of idols.

The CM had said that everyone would get a security guarantee and administration-police officials would be present on the spot. Those whose negligence led to the incident will also be identified and action will be taken against them. 

What is the whole matter?

Today when the idol immersion procession was going out from Maharajganj town of Hardi police station area of ​​Mahsi tehsil to Rehua Mansoor village, some people of the other community objected to the DJ. After this, the matter escalated and stone pelting and firing started. In this incident, Ram Gopal Mishra (22), a resident of Rehua Mansoor village, was injured by a bullet and died in the hospital during treatment.

After the death of the youth, there was panic in the area and an atmosphere of tension was created. After this, Hindu organizations stopped the immersion processions in Bahraich City, Fakharpur town, and some other places. Let us tell you that after the death of the youth, a large number of people started protesting by placing the body of the youth outside the district hospital. Taking cognizance of this incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said in a statement issued in Lucknow that those who spoil the atmosphere will not be spared.
