Russia Ukraine War: Ukraine made a deadly attack on Russia, caused huge damage

Ukraine Targeted Russia Oil Term

Kyiv: The Ukrainian army claimed that it has targeted Russia’s important oil terminal in Crimea from where oil is supplied to the Russian army for the war. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the war had entered a crucial phase. Ukraine’s General Staff said through social media that the Feodosia oil terminal located in the south of the occupied Crimea peninsula was attacked with the intention of “hurting Russia’s military and economic potential” because oil was being supplied to the Russian army for the war from there.

Russian authorities in Feodosia said a fire broke out at the terminal on the Black Sea coast on Monday morning but did not disclose the cause. Ukraine has been targeting key Russian-held areas in a war that has entered its third year. It has developed long-range drones that have attacked oil depots and refineries as well as arsenals.

‘Russia will gain nothing from the war’

Zelensky said late Sunday that the war had entered a “critical phase” as Ukraine’s military struggled to halt large Russian forces in the east, while also maintaining its position in Russia’s Kursk border region, which it captured two months ago. “Ukraine must put pressure on Russia in a way that makes Russia realize that it will not gain anything from war,” he said in a video message. “We will continue to put more pressure on Russia, because only through strength can we bring peace closer,” Zelensky said.

Both countries are attacking each other.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force claimed that Russia attacked with six missiles of different types and 74 Shahid drones late Sunday night. Missile debris fell in three districts of Kyiv, causing minor damage to civilian infrastructure. The Russian Defense Ministry said that about two dozen drones fired by Ukraine were shot down during the night.
