The AC chair car coach of train number 22435 Vande Bharat Express going from Varanasi to Delhi was pelted with stones near Panki station in Kanpur. According to information received from the railway, the 20 coach Vande Bharat train running from Delhi to Varanasi was pelted with stones. On Wednesday, Vande Bharat left Kanpur Central a little later than its scheduled time. As the train was entering the outer signal of Panki station at 7:05 pm, stone pelting took place on the C-7 coach. A stone hit the glass of the C-7 coach and broke it. This created panic among the passengers of the coach. Many passengers hid under the seats out of fear of the stones.
