Stock Market Today: Usually the Indian stock market is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no work here. But despite being Saturday today, the stock market will remain open for some time. The National Stock Exchange i.e. NSE will organize a mock trading session on its disaster recovery site today on Saturday. NSE issued a circular saying that a mock trading session will be conducted in the capital market segment on September 28. Along with this, there will also be trading in testing futures and options (F&O). During this time, a switchover will be done to the disaster recovery site. This is being done to ensure that even in an emergency, the service of the stock exchange is not affected and the work can run smoothly.
what time will the market open
The National Stock Exchange said in a circular that the mock trading session will be held on Saturday between 12 noon and 1 pm. Apart from this, there will also be a live trading session at the disaster recovery site from 30 September to 3 October. Its purpose is to further assess the reactivity of the system during any adverse situation. This is the third special live trading session organized by NSE this year. Earlier, special live trading sessions were held on 2 March and 18 May. A disaster recovery site is considered very important for any critical institution.

The National Stock Exchange has stopped the T+0 settlement system for now. This system was to be implemented from 30 September. NSE said in a notification that this settlement system is being stopped for now. Let us tell you that before the year 2002, there was a system of T+5 settlement. After this, the T+3 settlement was implemented in the year 2002. Then in the year 2003, the T+2 settlement system came. After this, the T+1 settlement system came in January last year.
