Dead body of a young man found in the campus of MLA housing building in Lucknow, injury marks on the body

Lucknow: Sensation spread when the body of a young man was found on the campus of MLA Awas building in Lucknow on Tuesday morning. There were injury marks on the body of the young man. Police are still investigating the case. Police say that whether it is suicide or murder is still under investigation. According to information, an OCR is built in the Hussainganj area of ​​Lucknow in which many MLAs and ministers of state live. OCR building is about 500 meters away from the Vidhan Sabha.

This morning at around 5:30 am, the police received information that a young man was lying on the OCR campus. The police reached the spot and took the young man to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. When the police scanned the CCTV footage in the OCR building, the young man was seen entering the campus by jumping over gate number one of the building at around 11 pm. 

Deceased youth identified

The police have identified the youth. Himanshu Singh is a resident of Lalkuan, about one and a half kilometers away from OCR. Himanshu fought with his family last night after which he left the house. Himanshu’s father says that he has been mentally disturbed for the last few days.

Lucknow’s DCP Central Raveena Tyagi said that the body has been recovered from the MLA Housing Complex near Burlington Chaurasta in Hussainganj. The employees living here saw the body and informed the police. After this, the police reached the spot and took the body into their custody.  

Many people have committed suicide here. 

Lucknow’s OCR building was earlier also called Suicide Tower. Twenty-two years ago, many people used to commit suicide in this building, and twice, people were murdered and their bodies were thrown down from the top. At that time, the people living in the building had also performed a havan here and nets were also installed inside the building.
