Anant Chaturdashi 2024: Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17. On this day, the Anant form of Lord Vishnu is worshiped. Let us tell you that Lord Vishnu has 12 names, one of which is Anant. On this day, there is a law to worship him at noon and also to observe a fast. It is said that the Pandavas also observed this fast on the advice of Shri Krishna himself. By observing this fast, the difficulties of the devotees will be reduced and the wishes of wealth, children, etc. will be fulfilled. Anant Chaturdashi Puja Vidhi

On the day of Anant Chaturdashi, after taking a bath, finishing your daily chores, and wearing clean clothes, first take a vow to fast. After this, first of all, clean the east side of the house properly and install the Kalash there. Then install a plate or any other utensil on top of the Kalash. Then install the idol of Lord Anant made of Kush in that utensil and front of it place a thread of raw cotton with fourteen knots, colored with kumkum, saffron, or turmeric. This thread is also called Anant. Now worship Anant Ji made of Kush and the thread with fourteen knots with proper fragrance, flowers, incense, lamps, offerings, etc. and if possible, read the story of God as well.

Then after the puja etc., meditate on Anant Dev and tie that thread on your arm. Men should tie that thread with fourteen knots in their right hand and women in their left hand. The fourteen knots of the Anant thread are considered to be the symbol of fourteen worlds. This thread is considered to please Lord Vishnu and give infinite fruits. Wearing it protects one from all kinds of troubles and brings welfare to the seeker.
