Last week, Airtel made a profit of ₹54,282 crores in the stock market, while LIC suffered a loss of ₹3,004 crores

The market capitalization (m-cap) of nine out of the top 10 most valuable companies of Sensex increased by Rs 2,01,552.69 crore last week. Bharti Airtel made the biggest gain. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex made a gain of 1,707.01 points or 2.10 percent. On Thursday, the Sensex reached its all-time high of 83,116.19 points. During the week under review, the market valuation of Bharti Airtel increased by Rs 54,282.62 crore to Rs 9,30,490.20 crore. Bharti Airtel was the biggest gainer.

TCS made a profit of 23,427 crores

The market capitalization of ICICI Bank rose by Rs 29,662.44 crore to Rs 8,80,867.09 crore. The market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) rose by Rs 23,427.12 crore to Rs 16,36,189.63 crore. The market valuation of Hindustan Unilever rose by Rs 22,438.6 crore to Rs 6,89,358.33 crore and that of HDFC Bank jumped by Rs 22,093.99 crore to Rs 12,70,035.77 crore.

Infosys made a profit of Rs 17,480 crore.

The market cap of Infosys rose by Rs 17,480.49 crore to Rs 8,07,299.55 crore and that of ITC rose by Rs 15,194.17 crore to Rs 6,42,531.82 crore. The valuation of Reliance Industries rose by Rs 9,878.19 crore to Rs 19,92,160.61 crore. The market capitalization of the State Bank of India (SBI) rose by Rs 7,095.07 crore to Rs 7,05,535.20 crore.

LIC’s market cap falls

In contrast to this trend, the market position of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) fell by Rs 3,004.38 crore to Rs 6,54,004.76 crore. In the list of top 10 most valuable companies, Reliance Industries remained in the first position. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI, Hindustan Unilever, LIC and ITC respectively.
