Districts of ministers in charge changed in UP, CM and Deputy CM have charge of 25-25 districts, see new list

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given ministers the responsibility of districts afresh. The Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers have charge of 25 districts each and the charge of districts will be rotated every four months. During this, Yogi Adityanath said that the ministers in charge should go to the field and meet the public, communicate, and solve public problems. It was decided in the meeting that the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers would also help each minister in discharging their responsibilities in the district assigned to them.

Every minister in charge will have to visit the district under his charge every month. During this time, he will stay overnight there and will have to work for better implementation of the schemes of the central/state government. The report of the district visit will be sent to the Chief Minister’s office. Instructions have been given to communicate with every section of the society and inspect the development works during the visit to the districts.

Cleanliness campaign on PM’s birthday

It was decided in the meeting that the Swachhata Mahabhiyan will be launched on 17 September on PM Modi’s birthday. During this, the presence of ministers in charge in the districts will be necessary. Yogi said that everyone will have to make collective efforts to make this Swachhata Abhiyan a mass movement.

Instructions of CM Yogi

  • As the minister in charge of the district, the Hon’ble Ministers will stay in the district in charge of them for 24 hours at least once every month.
  • The Minister-in-Charge will discuss the issues related to governance with the core committee and will prepare a detailed report and present it to the concerned department and the Chief Minister’s office every month.
  • There should be a meeting with one of the respected enlightened citizens of the district, religious leaders, progressive farmers, social leaders including business organizations during each visit.
  • In the district review meeting, public complaints are expected to be resolved based on merit. Law and security-related issues, issues related to the revenue department such as inheritance, measurement, transfer, and land use including IGRS, CM Helpline, etc. should be reviewed and resolved based on merit. A detailed report of its review should be compulsorily sent to the Chief Minister’s Office and the concerned department.
  • The development projects and public welfare schemes of the Central and State governments should also be physically verified during the visit at the local level.
  • It is expected that during the visit, a physical inspection of any one of the destitute cow shelters, village secretariat, purchase center, fair price shop, and agricultural science center be done.
  • On-site inspection of the work of Atal Residential School, Primary Schools, Schools, Government Colleges, Kasturba Gandhi Universities/Colleges under construction, and review of the functioning of Polytechnic/ITI should be done.
  • There should be a discussion on promotion and promotion by exploring the possibilities of local tourism development. Investment proposals received in the district should be reviewed and discussed with entrepreneur friends and local bankers.
  • Meeting with the district administration/police administration regarding traffic problems in the district. Review the road safety measures in the district. Aspirational development blocks must be reviewed in the district review meeting.
  • Inspection of Primary Health Centre / Community Health Centre / District Hospital / Medical College and review of programmes. Ayushman Card, availability of medicines, availability of doctors / paramedical staff in hospitals. It is necessary to inspect the operation of Anganwadi centers, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Chief Minister Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, construction of village secretariats, presence of personnel posted in the village, etc.
