Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said in a statement, “I have directed the authorities to take action on the incident at Apalachee High School and urge all Georgians to pray for the safety of students in Barrow County and across the state.” The FBI’s Atlanta office said in a statement, “The FBI Atlanta is aware of the current situation at Apalachee High School in Barrow County. Our officers are on the scene to coordinate and assist with local law enforcement.
