Major action has been taken today against the Jamia Habibiya Madrasa of Prayagraj where the case of printing fake notes had come to light. The team of Civil Lines Police of Prayagraj and the Development Authority evacuated the Madrasa and sealed it. The Development Authority took this action in the case of illegal construction of the Madrasa. A sealing banner was put up on the Madrasa. The PDA will now also check the documents of the Madrasa’s land.
According to the information, about 100 students were taking Islamic education in Jamia Habibiya Madrasa in Atarsuiya, Prayagraj. All the students studying here were from Bihar-Jharkhand. All the students of the madrasa and all the administrators of the madrasa, Maulanas, packed their belongings and went home.
It is alleged that Jamia Habia’s Madrasa Principal Tafsirul and Madrasa’s Maulana Zahir Khan had started a fake currency factory in the Madrasa. Fake currency notes of Rs. 1.3 lakh in denominations of Rs. 100 each were recovered from the Principal’s room. Later, speed post slips and some inflammatory books were recovered from the Principal’s room. Regarding this inflammatory book, intelligence agencies are also investigating the relationship of the Maulana and the Madrasa’s Principal with fundamentalist organizations.
Intelligence agencies are also investigating the financial sources of the madrasa and all the maulanas including the principal. Because it was revealed that money was sent from abroad to run the madrasa as Zakat. Apart from this, the security agency along with the police and IB is also trying to find out the students taught by the principal during his tenure. It is clear from the book found in the principal’s room that the principal of the madrasa is of Tafsirul fundamentalist ideology and must have brainwashed the students with his poisonous thinking. No one is saying anything officially in this matter, but intelligence agencies are trying to find out whether the students coming from the madrasa are involved in any terrorist incidents or any terrorist organization. For this, the police and investigation agencies are scrutinizing the records of the last 5 years.
