Colombo: A big decision has been taken in the 4-nation national security level conference going on in Sri Lanka. This strategy, prepared on the proposal of India’s NSA Ajit Doval, will now foil every move of China. Along with India, the representatives of Maldives, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka have also taken a big decision to establish the Colombo Security Conference Secretariat to promote regional security and address the cross-border threats and common challenges faced by the member countries. Today, the four countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding in this regard. This will shock China and Pakistan in particular. The special thing is that Maldives is also included in this decision along with India.

The National Security Advisors (NSAs) and Deputy National Security Advisors of India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Mauritius attended the Colombo Security Conference (CSC). It deals with maritime security, counter-terrorism, and cyber security, where India has projected its strategic concerns in the Indian Ocean. The Indian High Commission here said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, “National Security Advisor Ajit Doval signed the Charter and MoU with representatives of Maldives, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka to establish the Colombo Security Conference (CSC) Secretariat. It is an important platform for enhancing regional security cooperation and this Charter and MoU signing event is a milestone in the CSC roadmap. The High Commission also posted some pictures on ‘X’.
