While talking with Siddharth Kannan, Kangana Ranaut talked about ‘Animal’ and also questioned the content of the film. Kangana Ranaut says that even though the film did solid business at the box office, it seemed to celebrate patriarchal themes. Kangana Ranaut further said that people liked the scenes of axe-wielding and violence in the film. Men are shown carrying machine guns in the film. Such scenes are not right. The film shows that there is no law and order.
Kangana Ranaut further said that the film shows things like irresponsible behavior and drug use, which attracts the audience. Kangana said, ‘Bas Masti Mein Hai. Drugs Karke Masti Hai.’ Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, many actors including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandana were in important roles in this film. The film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
