BJP’s Muslim face and former minister in the UP government Mohsin Raza has reacted to the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. He said that we welcome this bill, the old Waqf law was the sin of the Congress. Mohsin Raza said that after the creation of Pakistan, the Congress had made preparations to create “Waqfistan”, which the Modi government has demolished in time. BJP leader Mohsin Raza has also been the Waqf Minister in the Uttar Pradesh government.

Mohsin Raza said that the changes being made in the Wakf Act of 1995 and the amendment of 2013 are in the interest of the country and the public. The old Wakf Act was a well-planned conspiracy of the Congress. Under this, the rights given to the Wakf Board were used to acquire properties across the country. The Wakf Board also acquired all the Wakf properties across the country that did not come under the purview of Wakf. In just a decade, these properties increased from four lakh acres to eight lakh acres.
