In UP, a video of a woman DM slapping a young man is going viral on social media. The video is from Fatehpur district. What happened was that DM Indumati had a surprise inspection at the DUDA office and the sub-registrar office. There was chaos when the DM suddenly arrived. People started running. Then a man in a hurry to leave collided with the DM, due to which the DM got furious and slapped the young man. The DM, fuming with anger, said, “I am standing… can’t you see a woman is standing and you are pushing her and going ahead.”
Know the whole matter
The District Magistrate along with the administrative team conducted a surprise inspection on the complaint of corruption in the Sub-Registrar Office and District Urban Development Agency Office (DUDA) in Fatehpur, UP. The sudden arrival of the District Magistrate in the office created panic among the officers and employees present there and all the outsiders present there were seen running away. The DM handed over some suspicious people to the police for strict interrogation upon finding them on the spot.

On Monday, District Magistrate C. Indumati, ADM Administration Avnish Tripathi, ADM Finance Vinay Pathak, and SDM Sadar suddenly reached the Sub Registrar Office and the District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) Office. During this, many people were seen running away after seeing the strict attitude of the DM. The District Magistrate checked the old documents in the Mal Khana of the Sub-Registrar Office. Interrogated the people who came to get the deed done and expressed displeasure on finding some suspicious people in the office caught them on the spot and reprimanded them. At the same time, some people were caught and handed over to the police for questioning. The District Magistrate severely reprimanded the Sub-Registrar for finding dirt on the premises and also gave strict instructions to improve the system and expressed displeasure on finding outsiders.
Case filed against outsiders who met unauthorizedly
After inspecting the Sub-Registrar’s Office, the District Magistrate reached the nearby Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan DEPO Education Office and checked the files. During the inspection, the District Magistrate directed to provide the list of eligible beneficiaries in the matter of providing housing.
ADM Avnish Tripathi said that after receiving continuous complaints about the Sub-Registrar’s office, the District Magistrate has inspected it. Action has been taken to register a case under relevant sections against three outsiders found unauthorized in various offices.
