The investigation till date has revealed that this ashram of Baba is spread over approximately 21 bighas. Vinod Babu of Mainpuri had donated this land to Baba for his ashram. Where did the money come from to build the boundary around this ashram built on land worth crores and this kothi equipped with all the facilities, there is a list of donors posted outside. Apart from this, it is written on the board outside the Ashram itself that these people who donated had got the ‘special facility’ to stay with Baba and take care of his health.
Baba has put a list of 200 big donors at the gate of the ashram. The first name in this list is that of Vinod Babu, who donated the land. After that, 199 names are of those people who donated Rs 2 lakh 51 thousand to Rs 1.5 lakh, Rs 1 lakh, 80 thousand, Rs 50,000, 25000, 11000 and Rs 10,000. The names of donors who donated less than Rs 10,000 are not in the list. Apart from the Nettle Ashram of Mainpuri being run by the Ramkuti Trust, Baba Narayan Sakar Hari’s ashrams are also being said to be in Uttar Pradesh as well as other states. Many big ashrams of Baba are built in different cities. There are ashrams in Kasganj, Agra, Kanpur, Shahjahanpur as well as in Gwalior. Baba has also adopted a very clever method to save his immense wealth. Baba has different trusts in all the cities where he has ashrams, like Ram Kutir Trust in Mainpuri, similarly there is a separate trust for every city and the trustees in that trust are also people from that city. In the documents, Baba collects money in the name of the Trust and then builds a luxurious fort-like mansion and lives a luxurious life with all the facilities. Instead of wearing saffron, Baba wears a suit, boot and tie. He teaches devotion to people by wearing expensive watches and expensive glasses. However, his devotees claim that Baba does not take a single penny in charity and he survives only on the pension he receives from the police department.
