Rudraprayag-Badrinath Highway Accident: A tempo traveller full of passengers fell into a deep gorge near Rauteli on the Rudraprayag-Badrinath highway in Uttarakhand. Rudraprayag district Superintendent of Police Dr. Vishakha Ashok Bhadane said that rescue operations are continuing in the tempo traveller accident. So far 6 injured have been airlifted and sent to higher center Rishikesh. According to IG Garhwal, 13 people have died in the accident.
According to news agency ANI, while giving information about the accident, IG Garhwal, Karan Singh Nagnyal said, ‘Rudraprayag Superintendent of Police is on the spot… Tempo Traveller was coming from Noida (UP) towards Rudraprayag… It fell into a 150-200 meter deep ditch. Initially, 7 bodies were confirmed to have been recovered.

IG Nagnyal said, ‘The driver is seriously injured. Therefore it is not clear how many people were in the vehicle. Police, SDRF and local people are engaged in rescue work… Rescue operation is going on.’
