Offer this thing on Monday to get the blessings of Lord Shiva in Sawan, you will get the blessings of Bholenath

New Delhi. The month of Sawan has started from 4th July 2023 and today is the first Monday of Sawan on 10th July. Special worship is done to Lord Shiva in the month of Sawan. To please Bholenath, the devotees worship him in the morning and evening and also offer different types of bhog, so that the blessings of Lord Shiva remain with him forever. In such a situation, the devotees anoint Lord Shiva with Panchamrit and distribute the prasad among the people. Cow’s milk is used in Panchamrit. Making Panchamrit would have been very easy. You can easily prepare it at home in a jiffy. So let’s know how to make Panchamrit:-

Ingredients needed to make Panchamrit:

1 cup milk
1 cup curd (preferably homemade)
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp
ghee (clarified butter)
a pinch of saffron threads
a handful of mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins, etc.), chopped

How to make Panchamrit

  • In a bowl, mix milk, curd, honey, and sugar until well blended.
  • Heat ghee in a small pan or wok on low heat. Add the saffron threads and fry them lightly for a few seconds till they start to smell nice. Be careful that they don’t burn.
  • Add roasted saffron along with ghee to the milk-curd mixture and mix well.
  • Add chopped dry fruits to the mixture and stir gently.
  • Panchamrit is now ready to be served or used as Prasad during religious ceremonies.
