Kanpur (Kanhapur), May 29 (Hindustan). On Monday, the police team of Moolganj police station arrested the two accused from near the railway warehouse within 72 hours after unraveling the history sheeter’s murder. The police team has recovered two pistols and cartridges from the possession of the arrested youths.
Deputy Commissioner of Police East Pramod Kumar said on Monday that the arrested accused include Salman Kana, a resident of Nai Road in Moolganj police station area, and Atiq Elahi, a resident of Bekanganj. During interrogation, the accused said that the reason for the murder was a transaction of Rs 20,000. Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused and they have been sent to jail and the search for other accused involved in this is on.
It may be noted that the history sheeter criminal Saif alias Bholu Jabar was shot dead on the night of May 26 near Mishri Bazar in Moolganj Police Station area. On the tahrir of the deceased’s brother Danish, Salman Kana registered a case against Atiq Elahi and others and conducted a search.
