Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday claimed that Narendra Modi will be elected as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term after next year’s general elections. He also said that the opposition Congress would not even win its current Lok Sabha seats in that election.

Addressing a program to issue appointment letters to 44,703 candidates selected for the Assam Civil Services, he alleged that the attitude of the Congress was negative. Congress is also playing politics by boycotting the inauguration of the new Parliament building. He claimed that Narendra Modi would win 300 seats and become the Prime Minister again. Congress has also lost the status of opposition party. And in the coming elections it will not even get as many seats as its current Lok Sabha seats. He claimed that on several occasions, leaders like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have laid foundation stones for new assembly complexes in states ruled by the Congress and opposition parties. Several times the governor of the state did not lay the foundation stone. Congress does not allow the Prime Minister to speak in Parliament. People have elected Prime Minister Modi to speak in Parliament. By not respecting the Prime Minister, they are insulting the judgment of the people. He said that the BJP had promised to provide employment to one lakh people in Assam during the 2021 elections. BJP has given employment to 86 thousand people in two and a half years.
