According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance, a coin of 75 rupees will be launched on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House. According to the information, the weight of this coin will be 35 grams. It will have an alloy of 50 per cent silver and 40 per cent copper along with 5 per cent nickel and zinc.

The new Rs 75 coin will have Rs 75 written on the front under the Ashoka Pillar. Apart from this, India will be written in Hindi and English on the left and right sides. The other side of this coin will have the picture of Parliament House. Above it will be written Parliament Complex in Hindi and below in English. The year 2023 will be written below the picture of Parliament.

Where are coins made?

This coin has been minted at the Kolkata Mint of the Government of India. It will be launched by PM Modi at the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House. The Finance Ministry said that this coin will be manufactured keeping in mind the rules of the first schedule.
