Gold Price Today: Gold on Thursday fell by Rs 430 to Rs 60,250 per 10 grams in the national capital Delhi’s bullion market amid weak global demand. HDFC Securities gave this information. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 60,680 per 10 grams.

Today Gold Silver Price: Silver is also trading down by Rs 750 at Rs 72,450 per kg. Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst – Commodities, HDFC Securities, said gold was trading lower by Rs 430 per 10 grams at Rs 60,250 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.

In the overseas market, gold and silver were trading at $1,960 an ounce and $23.09 an ounce, respectively. Comex spot gold prices declined due to rise in dollar and US treasury yield.

Gold futures fall on weak demand

Gold fell by Rs 44 to Rs 59,816 per 10 grams on Thursday as traders reduced their holdings. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold futures for delivery in June closed at Rs 59,816 per 10 gram, down Rs 44, or 0.07 per cent, in a business turnover of 7,400 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to off-loading of positions by traders. Globally, gold was trading 0.22 per cent lower at $1,978.80 an ounce in New York.

silver promise is broken

On Thursday, silver futures fell by Rs 95 to Rs 70,991 per kg, easing positions among traders. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July declined by Rs 95, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 70,991 per kg in a business turnover of 13,662 lots. Globally, silver declined by 0.13 per cent to USD 23.21 an ounce in New York.
