Lord Mahakaleshwar, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is considered the lord of all three worlds. He is also called the first and most worshipable deity of the underworld, earth and sky. Now a satellite is also going to be launched in the name of Lord Mahakala, the Lord of the three worlds. The ISRO chief gave this information after visiting Ujjain.
The Isro chief took the blessings of Lord Mahakala
ISRO chief S. Somnath reached Lord Mahakal’s city Ujjain yesterday and took the blessings of Lord Mahakal. Raman Trivedi, the priest of the Mahakaleshwar temple said that for a long time Somnath Sridhar was planning to seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal. He was also invited to visit the temple. Pandit Trivedi said that ISRO chief S. Somnath has promised him that he will also launch a satellite named Mahakal.
Lord Mahakala will shine all over the world
Lord Mahakal has crores of Shiva devotees in the country and abroad. Now launching a satellite in the name of Lord Mahakal will increase his fame even more. Usually satellites are not named after deities, but pundits and priests of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee are welcoming the Indian Space Centre’s decision. Pandits and priests claim that any satellite launched into space in the name of Lord Mahakala will successfully complete its mission.
First satellite named after Lord Mahakala
Till now passenger buses, trains and institutions are named after Lord Mahakal. This is the first time that even a satellite will be launched into space in the name of Lord Mahakala. Lord Mahakala is also called Lord of Time. Chanting Lord Mahakal removes all troubles. This is the reason why the name of Lord Mahakala has also been established in many places in the country including Madhya Pradesh.
