Kritika was in the business of lending money to the needy on interest since 2018. The accused have collected around Rs. 7 lakh was also taken and there was a quarrel between the two regarding this money. When the woman pressured him for money, he developed a grudge against her and planned to kill her. On May 12, the accused heard an argument in the house and attacked her with a knife and inflicted stab wounds on her chest and abdomen, resulting in her death.
Bought a stone cutting machine
After the murder, the accused bought two small stone cutting machines, so that the body could be cut into pieces and disposed of. Cut the head from the torso and put it in black polythene. Then he cut off their legs and arms and put them in the fridge. On May 15, the severed head of the deceased was thrown into an autorickshaw near the Musi river by V. Accused Mohan then bought Phenyl, Dettol, Attar Incense and Camphor and regularly sprinkled it on the body parts of the deceased so that the surrounding area would not get foul smell. He watched videos online to see how to dispose of body parts.
According to the police, he used to send messages from the deceased’s mobile phone to make his acquaintances believe that he was alive and staying elsewhere. But on May 17, a scavenger’s severed head was found in a garbage dump in front of the Afzal Nagar Community Hall near the Musi River. After this Malakpet police registered a case and formed eight teams to solve the case.

After the CCTV footage and other investigations, the police identified the accused and confessed their crime. The police have recovered the body of the victim from his house and sent it for post-mortem. South East Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Rupesh Chennuri said that the police have arrested B Chandra Mohan, an unmarried man who runs an online business in the stock market, and sent him to jail in connection with the murder.
