Police raids on terrorist hideouts in Jammu and Kashmir

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted raids at several locations in Kishtwar district on Wednesday (May 24). In which the houses of four terrorists were raided. These four terrorists are in Pakistan and carry out terrorist activities from there. A senior official in Jammu gave this information. Kishtwar Senior Superintendent of Police Khalil Ahmad Poswal said the raids were conducted in Paddar, Keshavan and Thakrai after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) obtained a search warrant from a court in a case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

5 Raids on houses of terrorists
Earlier on May 18, the SIU team raided the houses of five terrorists. These terrorists carry out terrorist activities from Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Apart from this, the houses of three suspects were also raided in the district.

Poswal said that non-bailable warrants have been issued against 23 terrorists.
It said that the evidence found in the raid would be used to charge them with anti-national activities and involvement in terrorist activities. On April 26, a special NIA court in Jammu issued non-bailable warrants against 23 terrorists from Kishtwar, who were carrying out terrorist activities across the border.

36 people went to Pakistan on the way of terrorists – SSP
Earlier also, non-bailable warrants were issued against 13 terrorists of the district. The SSP said that 36 people from Kishtwar had gone to Pakistan on the path of terrorism. During investigation, two FIRs were registered against him as he was found to be involved in terrorist activities.
