Ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the country’s new Parliament building, there was a huge uproar between parties and opposition parties. 19 opposition parties including Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Trinamool Congress, RJD, NCP and Left parties have decided to boycott the inauguration ceremony. These parties have accused the central government of insulting President Draupadi Murmu. Meanwhile, former president of Congress Rahul Gandhi has targeted the central government by tweeting.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi that the President not inaugurating Parliament and not inviting him to the program is an insult to the country’s highest constitutional post. Rahul said that Parliament is not made of bricks of pride, but of constitutional values.

Pandemonium at the opening

Earlier, BJP spokesperson Jayveer Shergill had targeted Rahul Gandhi by tweeting. Shergill said Rahul Gandhi should learn to respect his party colleagues before advising them on constitutional norms.

At the same time, Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party senior leader Bhagwant Maan also attacked the Center by tweeting. He has said that whenever the Parliament is in session, the President sends an invitation letter to the members of the Parliament, but this time the President has not been invited to the inauguration program of the new Parliament. That is why we will not go to this program.
