Many agreements signed in India-Australia, PM Modi said – our relationship in T20 mode

Prime Minister Modi’s 3-day Australia tour has come to an end. There was a bilateral meeting between the two leaders on Wednesday. After this Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese held a joint press conference.

PM Modi said – We both discussed the continuous attacks on temples in Australia. We will not tolerate any move that harms the relations between the two countries. Meanwhile, PM Albanese assured that strict action would be taken in such cases.

PM Modi said- This is my sixth meeting with Albanese in the last one year. This proves how deep the India-Australia relationship is. Talking in the language of cricket, the relationship between the two countries has come in T20 mode.

Meanwhile, P.M. Modi invited cricket fans from Albany and Australia to visit India for this year’s World Cup. He said- Along with the World Cup, the great festival of Diwali will also be celebrated in India. I would like Prime Minister Albanese to be present in India during this period.

In the press conference, P.M. Albanese said Australia would open a consulate in Bangalore to help both countries in terms of trade and technology sharing. Earlier, many important issues were discussed in the bilateral meeting between the two leaders. In this, discussions were held on increasing military cooperation in the G-20, trade and defense sectors.

 

Several Australian officials including Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar were also present in the meeting. After this, both the leaders also signed some important agreements. Along with this, PM Modi was also honored with the Guard of Honor at Sydney’s Admiralty House.

In a conversation with the Australian media, Anthony Albanese said that the G-20 summit is going to be held in India in September. On this occasion, I will get a chance to meet Prime Minister Modi. I want both countries to move forward in areas that have not been worked on much.
