Indian businessman Gautam Adani, trapped in the vortex of American short seller firm Hindenburg, has made a strong comeback. Adani has once again entered the top-20 on the back of a stormy jump in the stock. Gautam Adani’s net worth has risen to $64.2 billion in the last three days, a rapid increase in his wealth.

The shares of Gautam Adani, who has now reached the 18th position in the list of the rich, are continuously increasing. On Tuesday, five shares of the company hit upper circuit. These include Adani Power and Adani Green, while flagship company Adani Enterprises saw a strong growth of 14 per cent and Adani Wilmar 10 per cent. Along with this, the shares of his other companies have also closed on the green mark. With the rise in shares, the market capitalization of the group has crossed the Rs 10 lakh crore mark. With this, he has now moved from 24th position to 18th position in the rich list with a net worth of $64.2 billion.

On Tuesday, Gautam Adani raised $9.3 billion or approximately Rs. Highest earning in a single day. 77,000 crores have been earned. In terms of one-day earnings, he has left behind the world’s number one richest man Bernard Arnault and second richest man Elon Musk. As of press time on Wednesday, his wealth had swelled to over $4.38 billion, or about Rs 36,000 crore, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Adani has left behind the world’s five fastest earning billionaires in a single day.

Following the publication of the Hindenburg Report on January 24, 2023, the Hindenburg suffered heavy losses, with Gautam Adani’s fortunes recording a steep decline every day. In just two months, he lost a whopping $60.7 billion from his net worth. However, since March, Adani shares have made a comeback and now seem to be holding their old momentum.
