Delhi-NCR to get respite from scorching heat for next 4 days: Met department forecast

Tuesday was a very bad day in Delhi. In some areas, temperatures were recorded above 45 degrees Celsius and hot winds prevailed throughout the day. However, there was some relief in the atmosphere from Tuesday evening itself. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of relief in the coming days as well.

Rain with thunderstorm in Delhi today

Today i.e. on the morning of May 24, relief was seen in the surrounding areas including Delhi, Noida. In the morning itself, the usual cold wind blew and the sky was also covered with normal clouds. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it may rain in Delhi today with thunderstorm. Relief will also be seen in the temperature. According to the IMD, Delhi’s Safdarjung will see a minimum temperature of 28 degrees and a maximum of 38 degrees today, compared to 43 degrees yesterday.

Along with this, Delhi will get relief from severe heat and heat wave for the next 4 days i.e. till 27th May. Apart from scattered thunderstorms today and tomorrow, May 26 and 27 will be cloudy with rain showers and temperature will drop to 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will touch 24 degrees Celsius.

Thunderstorm and rain likely in Noida

Noida also has partly cloudy weather today. Along with this, rain or thundershower with sprinkle or dust storm is also possible today. The temperature in Noida may also drop today. The minimum temperature today is expected to be 24 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 39 degrees, compared to yesterday’s 41 degree Celsius.

Relief from heat for next 5 days in Noida

The relief is that there will be relief from heat in Noida for the next 5 days. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of two days of rain after the next three days of rain. With this, the temperature reaching 42 degrees will drop to 36 degrees for a few more days. Due to which people will get relief from strong wind and intense heat.

Significantly, the climate is changing due to the passage of two successive Western Disturbances to the north and a heat-driven circulation in the plains. Due to which the condition will be comfortable for the next 5-6 days. During the remaining days of May, the mercury will drop by 6-8 degrees and remain below normal. Some areas of UP-Bihar have been affected since Tuesday.
