Mathura: The body of a Nepali man was found hanging from a tree at Bhagat Singh Park in City Kotwali area on Tuesday. Police identified the body and sent it for postmortem.
Kotwali in-charge Sanjay Pandey said that the body of 50-year-old Nayan Bahadur Patla was found hanging from a tree in Bhagat Singh Park. During the interrogation, it was found that he had come to India from Nepal a year ago. Nayan came to Mathura and started guarding at different places. A few days ago, Nayan Rai was guarding the city. At present, Nayan came to Mathura from Rai and used to visit the markets here. One of his friends, Bahadur, lives in the township area of Mathura. The police removed the dead body from the tree and conducted an investigation at the spot. No suicide note was found from the spot. The police found the clothes and mobile phone of the deceased Chowkidar Nayan from the bag kept near the dead body. The Kotwali in-charge said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is being done.
