Yamunanagar: A fire broke out in Alpha Plywood Factory on Khajuri Road in Yamunanagar on Tuesday morning. In this incident, plies and machines worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes. 4 cars of fire brigade tried to douse the fire at the spot. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The fire is believed to have started due to a short circuit.
Factory owner Suresh Garg said that his Munshi Ganesh informed about the fire on the phone at around 7.30 am. When he reached the factory, the ply and raw materials kept in the factory were burnt to ashes. The machines have also been completely gutted due to the fire. Fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The true assessment of damage will be known only later.
