IPL 2023, Qualifier 1: Big match between Chennai and Gujarat today, know pitch report and playing-11

[ad_1]

IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 CSK vs GT: The first qualifier match of IPL 2023 will be played at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai from 7:30 pm today. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a shrewd strategist but when his team Chennai Super Kings take on Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier, he will surely try to contain the in-form Shubman Gill.

In a spectacular match between Chennai and Gujarat today
Gill overturned Virat Kohli’s century effort in the previous match to knock Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) out of the IPL. In such a situation, all eyes will be on this young batsman in the match against Chennai and Dhoni, one of the best captains of India, will definitely prepare a special strategy for him.

Struggling with Chepauk’s pitch
Gujarat Titans have not played a single match at Chepauk this season. Although Chennai has played seven matches here but the nature of the pitch has changed in every match and therefore it is difficult to predict the next match.

In Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans have a captain as skilful as Dhoni. The Gujarat team is also not showing interest in making much changes in the playing 11 like Chennai. So this match will be between teams with similar strategy.

Possible playing XI of both teams
Chennai Super Kings: Rituraj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (c&wk), Deepak Chahar, Tushar Deshpande, Mahesh Thikshana (Impact player: Mathisha Pathirana)

Gujarat Titans: Wriddhiman Saha (w), Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya (c), Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmed, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Yash Dayal (impact player: Dasun Shanaka)
