In such a situation, the first qualifier will be played between Gujarat and Chennai and the eliminator between Lucknow and Mumbai. The first qualifier match of IPL 2023 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans at MA Chidambaram Stadium on 23 May. Whoever wins this match will directly reach the finals. With this, the losing team will get another chance to go to the finals.
Eliminator match will be played between Lucknow and Mumbai
After this match, the eliminator match will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 24th May. The team that loses this match will be eliminated. Whereas, the winning team will play the second qualifier match against the losing team in the first qualifier. The loser of the first qualifier and the winner of the eliminator match will play the second qualifier match on May 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Along with this, the final match will be played between the winning team of the first qualifier and the winning team of the second qualifier on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
