The TCS-led consortium has bagged a major order from state-run telecom company BSNL. The company is working fast to bring 4G network in the country. A consortium led by Tata Group’s technology company TCS has been awarded Rs 100 crore by the country’s state-owned telecom company BSNL. 15,000 crore has been ordered.
In a stock market disclosure by TCS, it was said that a consortium led by TCS has been placed with an advance purchase order of over Rs 15,000 crore by state-run telecom company BSNL. It is about setting up 4G network across the country.

The government telecom company is rapidly preparing to start 4G service. A few days ago, Minister of State for Communications Devsingh Chauhan had said that the government has given approval to set up one lakh BSNL 4G sites.
