The 16th season of the Indian Premier League has now reached its final stage. The league stage of IPL 2023 is over and now the playoff matches will be played from 23rd May. Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians have qualified for the playoffs. After the end of the league stage of IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans stood at the first position. While Chennai Super Kings is at number two. After this, Lucknow Supergiants finished third and Mumbai Indians finished fourth. In such a situation, the first qualifier will be played between Gujarat and Chennai and the eliminator between Lucknow and Mumbai.

The first qualifier match of IPL 2023 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans on May 23 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium i.e. Chennai’s home ground. Whoever wins this match will reach the finals. With this, the losing team will get another chance to go to the finals. After this, on May 24, the eliminator match will be played between Lucknow Supergiants and Mumbai Indians at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team that loses this match will be eliminated.

 

 

Whereas, the winning team will play the second qualifier match against the losing team in the first qualifier. After this, the loser in the first qualifier and the winner of the eliminator match will play the second qualifier match on May 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the same time, the final match between the winning team of the first qualifier and the winning team of the second qualifier will be played on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
