BSP prepares for Lok Sabha elections, changes will be made in the booth committee

Lucknow The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) suffered a crushing defeat in the recently held municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh. After this, after a review at the party headquarters, BSP chief Mayawati has given her leaders a mandate to change the party in the Lok Sabha polls and enter the fray with a new strategy. The preparations for which have also been started.

The party spokesperson said that several guidelines have been given by the BSP president regarding the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Henceforth people are asked to join the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Booth committees will change. Along with the activation of the booths, there will also be changes in the committees. Activists will go among the masses with the ideology of the party and the interest of the people.

It is worth mentioning that BSP had bet on the Dalit-Muslim equation in the municipal elections. For this reason, the party fielded 11 out of 17 Muslim candidates for the post of mayor. It was hoped that the party would get Vijayashree, but after the electoral defeat, the BSP will enter the fray with a new strategy in the Lok Sabha elections.
