Nagaon (Assam): In Dagaon of Juria district on Sunday midnight, miscreants fled from a truck on the road after looting goods and cash worth lakhs of rupees.
Police sources said on Monday that a truck was returning from Nagaon to Melekadhing when two bike-borne miscreants stopped a truck brandishing pistols in a deserted area on Dagaon Fakli Road in Juria. The miscreants attacked the truck driver and porter and ran away after looting Rs.3 lakh and 60 thousand. The truck driver has lodged an FIR at the Dagaon police station. Police are investigating and have not been able to make any arrests yet.
