Delhi BMW Accident: A speeding car collision was seen in Delhi’s Moti Nagar area. Around 4 am here on Sunday (May 21), a woman driving a BMW car hit a man riding a scooty. After the accident, the lady car driver herself took the victim to the nearby ABG hospital. From where the family took the victim to ESI Hospital, but he died during treatment.
In this case, the police have registered a case under section 279/337 and 304A and arrested the accused woman. Now the accused woman has got bail. The 36-year-old deceased is said to be a resident of nearby Basai Darapur village. He was going home with medicine. According to police sources, the woman is a resident of Ashok Vihar and was returning home from Greater Kailash after attending a party.
The police seized the car
The police have also conducted a medical test of the woman, only after the report comes will it be known whether she was intoxicated or not. After the incident, the police are scanning the CCTV footage of the surrounding area to find out the speed of the car at the time of the accident. Both the front headlights of the vehicle are completely damaged. Both of the vehicle’s front seat airbags deployed and the rear window glass was shattered. A generator was also kept at the scene of the accident, which caused the car to crash and the generator overturned and hit the roadside. The boundary of the road was also damaged due to the collision.
