Rajiv Gandhi had a vision to take India into the 21st century: Congress

Bhadohi: The death anniversary of late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was observed on May 21, Sunday. He was remembered by paying floral tributes under the leadership of District President Dr.Rajendrakumar Dubey ‘Rajan’ at the District District Congress Committee office.

Talking about his life, the district president said that Rajiv Gandhi was the father of communication revolution in the country. He thought of taking India into the 21st century. State Secretary Wasim Ansari said that Rajiv Gandhi’s entire life was dedicated to the country. Suffrage at the age of 18, ensuring women’s participation in the Panchayat Raj system laid the foundations of modern India.

On this occasion, State Secretary Karamchand Bind and senior Congress leader Hasnain Ansari said that Rajiv Gandhi did not compromise the integrity and unity of the country by sacrificing his life.
