The first meeting of the state cabinet was held after the swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed government in the state. It was presided over by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

In the meeting, 5 commitments announced in the manifesto including Griha Lakshmi Yojana, Anna Bhagya Yojana were implemented. CM Siddaramaiah said that 5 guarantees were promised in the manifesto.

The order to implement these five guarantees was given after the first meeting of the Cabinet. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has issued an order to implement Anna Bhagya Yojana, which provides free 10 kg rice to BPL families every month.
